Mentors: 1 per school (18 total - 8 Elementary, 10 Secondary)
Mentor Selection: Application Process – selected by 21st Century Leaders; must be approved by
principal; a classroom teacher; must be able to assist others with instructional
technology; willing to conduct/coordinate mini-training sessions at school faculty
meetings
*Principals may choose to send one additional advanced teacher (using Title I or Local School Funds) to assist novice teachers in their school

Novice Participants: 2 per school (36 total - 16 Elementary, 20 Secondary)
Participant Selection: Application Process – selected by 21st Century Leaders; must be approved by principal; must have a positive attitude and open to new ideas/strategies
*Principals may choose to send one additional novice teacher (using Title I or Local School Funds)

Session 2 – Virtual Lab School – February 2, 2011 (Novice Group Only)

Focus: Classroom Observations (Skype); Technology Tool Training

Session 3 – Lab School – February 3, 2011 (Mentors and Novices) at LHS
Focus: Collaboration/Lesson Planning
